Big Saturday college basketball schedule today, and I've handicapped all of the big name match ups. However, it's two games outside of the power conferences where I uncover value:
5:00pm: PENNSYLVANIA VS. PRINCETON
FSI spread: Pennsylvania -5.53
PICK: PENNSYLVANIA -2 (-105)
RISK: 1 UNIT
Both teams have performed relatively well in the non-conference slate thus far vs. various big-time schools, but PENN has fared a little better. Enough to feel comfortable about backing them to win here.
11:00pm: BYU VS. SAINT MARYS CA
FSI spread: Saint Marys -10.38
PICK: SAINT MARYS CA -7 (-102)
RISK: 1 UNIT
Both teams come in with identical 9-7 records. BYU, however, is just 1-5 on the road and it won't be easy at SMC's McKeon Pavilion where the Gaels are 7-2.
