1/5 – NFL – CRS sees excellent value in Saturday’s wild card games

The Calculated Relative Spread (CRS) shows excellent value relative to the actual spreads in Saturday's two wild card games. Two full, three-unit plays are on the line.

4:35pm: INDIANAPOLIS COLTS VS. HOUSTON TEXANS

CRS spread: Texans -11.92

PICK: HOUSTON TEXANS -1 (-115)

RISK: 3 UNITS

I expect the Texans to be able to grind this one out offensively, while also causing a couple of Colt turnovers to win this one comfortably at home.

8:15pm: SEATTLE SEAHAWKS VS. DALLAS COWBOYS

CRS spread: Seahawks -10.65

PICK: SEATTLE SEAHAWKS +1 (-105)

RISK: 3 UNITS

I believe the same formula that will work for HOU in the early game will also work for SEA here - Ball control offensively and forcing DAL into a couple of turnovers. Seahawks come away with the road playoff win.

Good luck, players!
