7pm - West Virginia at Kansas State -1.5 O/U 135.5
The Mountaineers (16-3, 4-2 Big 12) beat TCU in OT on Saturday and have split their last 4 games. Their blowout loss to Texas two back and their home loss to Iowa State on Jan.10 have some questioning just how good West Virginia really is, but not me. Losing to those conference opponents is no disgrace.
The Wildcats (12-8, 5-2) have won 5 of their last 6. F Nino Williams has stepped up with a 20 point average over the last 3 games. G Marcus Foster is the team's leading scorer.
Look for Mountaineer G Juwan Staten to have a big game as he is coming off an 18 point 12 assist effort vs. TCU and he score 35 points against the Wildcats last February in the teams last meeting.
Coach Bobby Huggins and his WVU squad have yet to win at Bramlage Coliseum since joining the Big 12 and with the way Kansas State is playing I think they'll have to wait some more before leaving Manhattan, KS with a win.
