Saturday's college basketball play of the day has #2 Kansas hosting Texas Tech. It's the 3rd Big 12 game of the season for each squad in what looks to be a very competitive conference this campaign.
Texas Tech (12-2, 1-1 Big 12) has already beaten a top team with Tuesday's 77-76 win over #7 West Virginia. The sharp-shooting Red Raiders are led by G Keenan Evans (13.4 ppg) and F Zach Smith (12.1 ppg and 7.9 rpg).
Kansas (13-1, 2-0) has won every game since losing the opener to Indiana, but they've been tested in their first 2 conference games. G Frank Mason leads the team in points and assists (19.5, 5.8) while 6'10" F Landen Lucas leads them in rebounding with 7.0 per game.
The Jayhawks will have the overall talent advantage as well as the home court edge at Allen Fieldhouse, but they have failed to cover the number in their last 3 and 5 of their last 6. Take the Red Raiders and the points as I recommend TTU +11.
The FSI rates it KU -8.88.
Good luck, players!
