The USC Trojans get a chance to avenge last year's 1st round loss in the NCAA tournament to Providence in the final "First Four" game of 2017.
The balanced Trojan attack is led by F's Bennie Boatwright and Chimezie Metu, who average 14.6 and 14.5 ppg respectively. The Friars 6'8" F Rodney Bullock leads his team in scoring (15.7) and rebounding (6.4) while G is effective with 11.4 ppg and 6.7 apg.
In the evening's first game, it's first time NCAA tournament participant UC Davis and the duo of Brynton Lamar and Chima Moneke leading the Aggies. Their opponent, North Carolina Central makes their 2nd appearance (2014) and will rely heavily on G Patrick Cole.
