6:40pm - Robert Morris vs. North Florida -3 O/U 138.5
The Robert Morris Colonials have won 6 straight en-route to their NEC tournament title. RM has a solid backcourt with Rodney Pryor and Marcquise Reed which is always a benefit in March.
The North Florida Ospreys got through the Atlantic Sun tourney to make it this far. The Ospreys are riding an 8 game winning streak. G Dallas Moore and G/F Beau Beech each earned 1st team All-Atlantic Sun honors.
Both teams are perimeter oriented and like the three-ball. If either team get's hot, it could spell trouble for the other. If both teams get hot, the total will fly over. I expect thet at least one of these teams will find the range and i'm leaning towards North Florida in a shootout.
North Florida 76 Robert Morris 69
Dayton -4 vs. Boise State O/U 128.5
The Dayton Flyers will enjoy home court advantage tonight as an 11 seed play-in participant. They've lost 3 of 4 coming in, so they'll need every edge they can get. Dayton is 16-0 at home this season and have most everyone back from last year's Elite Eight squad.
The Boise State Broncos lost to Wyoming in OT in the Mountain West final, but won 7 straight and 15 of 16 heading into that game. The Broncos are just 8-5 on the road. 6'3" G Derrick Marks was named Mountain West player of the year.
I give Boise State a shot here, but it's hard to go against a team that is unbeaten at home on their home court. I'll take Dayton to extend the streak and advance to face #6 Providence in Columbus, OH.
Dayton 69 Boise State 62
