I've identified three games on Saturday's MLB card that warrant a play relative to my Triple Trend Formula.
1:05pm: Phillies +131 RH Jeremy Hellickson (1-0, 0.90 ERA) vs. Nationals -145 RH Tanner Roark (2-0, 4.09)
Washington (6-4) won the series opener 3-2 in 10 innings on Friday. Philadelphia is just 3-7, but took 2 of 3 from the Nationals last weekend. I've got PHI rated +0.052 for this one on the TTF. One unit play.
4:10pm: Tigers +137 RH Justin Verlander (1-0, 1.35 ERA) vs. Indians -152 RH Corey Kluber (0-1, 5.25)
Detroit is 7-3 and has Verlander on the mound. Sure, he's up against Kluber in Cleveland, but with a +0.004 TTF match up advantage, there is good value on the Tigers here. One unit.
7:10pm: Mets -137 RH Jacob deGrom (0-0, 1.50 ERA) vs. Marlins +123 LH Adam Conley (1-1, 3.00)
The teams have split a pair of one-run games, including Thursday's 16 inning affair, to open this series. Red-hot Yeonis Cespedes sat out most of Friday's game (flu), but will likely be available tonight. Miami took 2 of 3 from New York last weekend, I like them here with a +0.272 TTF match up rating. One unit.
