Starting today, I'm adding the fourth metric into the TTF formula. You'll notice some higher ratings than usual, but now that enough games have been played, adding this metric should make the formula more accurate.
1:10pm: Indians -140 RH Trevor Bauer (0-2, 8.44 ERA) vs. Twins +126 RH Ervin Santana (3-0, 0.41)
This matchup of 7-7 teams was PPD due to bad weather yesterday. Minnesota switches to Santana. With a +2.126 TTF match up rating here, the Twins for a unit is the play.
7:10pm: Orioles -121 LH Wade Miley (1-0, 2.45 ERA) vs. Reds +110 RH Scott Feldman (1-1, 2.87)
a 2-0 win last night allowed Baltimore (9-4) to maintain their slight AL East edge. Cincinnati (9-6) looks to even up their home record as they are 4-5 coming into this match up. I like CIN with a +0.918 TTF match up rating here, especially since BAL is without closer Zach Britton (10 day DL). One unit.
9:10pm: Diamondbacks -112 LH Patrick Corbin (1-2, 2.81 ERA) vs. Padres +102 LH Clayton Richard (1-2, 3.60)
Arizona (10-6) looks to rebound from a tough 1-0 loss to San Diego (6-10) last night. I like AZ to take this final game of a 10 game road trip (4-5) with a solid +2.907 TTF match up advantage. One unit.
Good luck, players!
