Typical Sunday MLB schedule today with all afternoon games with the exception of the Sunday nighter.
1:10pm: Blue Jays -110 RH Marco Estrada (0-0, 3.00 ERA) vs. Rays +100 RH Jake Odorizzi (0-1, 6.00)
Toronto has managed just one win so far on the season as their offense has yet to get untracked. Odorizzi has one of 2 Tampa Bay losses. Home standing Rays have decent value her and the TTF like them, too, with a +0.352 rating. One unit.
1:35pm: Nationals -168 RH Stephen Strasburg (1-0, 2.57 ERA) vs. Phillies +151 RH Jeremy Hellickson (1-0, 1.80)
I don't believe Philadelphia will score 12 first inning runs this afternoon, but after last night's 17-3 win, they should have plenty of confidence. Worth playing at +151, especially with a +0.089 TTF rating on their side. One unit.
1:35pm: Braves +129 RH Julio Teheran (0-0, 0.00 ERA) vs. Pirates -143 RH Gerrit Cole (0-1, 9.00)
Cole was not sharp in his first start, while Teheran was. Atlanta has a +0.544 TTF rating which is why I recommend them for a unit.
1:35pm: Yankees +116 LH CC Sabathia (1-0, 0.00 ERA) vs. Orioles -128 LH Wade Miley (2016: 9-13, 5.37)
Yankees C Gary Sanchez was placed on the 10 day DL due to a bicep strain. Baltimore is the only remaining undefeated team in the majors, but NYY has Sabathia, who has New York's only victory on the mound today. Yankees rate +0.794 for this match up which is worthy of a one unit play.
2:10pm: Twins +120 RH Ervin Santana (1-0, 1.29 ERA) vs. White Sox -133 LH Jose Quintana (0-1, 10.13)
Minnesota has lost just once so far and has Santana, who was sharp in his first start, on the mound. Chicago's Quintana was not. Good value on the Twins (+0.295 TTF) for one unit.
4:40pm: Giants -153 RH Johnny Cueto (1-0, 7.20 ERA) vs. Padres +138 LH Clayton Richard (1-0, 0.00)
The surprising Padres are 3-3 while the just as surprising Giants are just 1-5. Richard beat the Dodgers in his first start. Take San Diego (+0.405 TTF) for one unit.
Added - 3:45pm - Sunday night game
8:00pm: Marlins +162 RH Edinson Volquez (0-0, 0.00 ERA) vs. Mets -180 RH Noah Syndergaard (0-0, 0.00)
It'll be a tough task for Miami vs. Synndergaard tonight, but the Marlins have scored 7 and 8 runs in the first two games of this series (both wins), while New York has just 3 combined. With a +0.504 TTF rating, Miami is the play for one unit.
Good luck, players!
