There are 5 games on tonight's NBA betting card and the Formulated Spread Indicator really likes 2 underdogs. Miami +5 vs. Houston and the Lakers +4.5 vs. Minnesota.
The Heat (-9 FSI) will likely be without Whiteside again, but they've won 4 straight without him and Miami's stellar defensive eFG% of .480 (6th in the NBA) should bode well in this road contest for them. On the flip side, the Rockets have dropped their last 3 games.
The Lakers (-2) FSI are struggling mightily and will try to avoid a franchise record 11th straight loss tonight at home against the T'wolves. Luckily for LA, Minnesota is just as bad losing 19 of their last 22 contests. Hard for me to justify laying points on the road with MIN. Look for the Lakers to avoid the dubious record.
