7pm - Miami at Charlotte -6 O/U 183.5
The Heat lost the Thunder last night and are 4-3 over their last 7. The Hornets have won 2 in a row and 7 of 8 games. Walker's status for the Hornets is now probable as he deals with the knee cyst. Still, I like the way Henderson has stepped up for Charlotte and I'll take them to win and cover with Walker.
Charlotte 96 Miami 89
7pm - Utah at Cleveland -10 O/U 195
The Jazz lost at San Antonio on Sunday for their 4th loss in 5 games. The Cavs have put 3 wins together after losing 6 straight. LeBron is questionable with the flu. Assuming no James - I take the points. If he plays this pick may change.
Cleveland 108 Utah 101
7pm - New York -2 at Philadelphia O/U 189.5
The Knicks beat New Orleans on Monday to snap a 16 game losing slide. The Sixers have lost 2 straight and 4 of 5. Now that the Knicks have gotten a taste of winning I think they will be able to take care of Philly here. Galloway gives NY some decent guard play which they have lacked.
New York 97 Philadelphia 92
7:30pm - Indiana at Atlanta -11 O/U 192
The Pacers come into the game as losers of 5 straight. The Hawks have won 13 in a row and 27 of 29. I just won't go against the Hawks until they give me a reason to do so. They've also covered 13 in a row.
Atlanta 108 Indiana 93
7:30pm - Orlando at Detroit -8 O/U 209.5
The Magic have dropped 2 straight after winning a pair, but they lost 6 in a row before that. The Pistons lost at Atlanta on Monday, but have won 11 of their last 14 games. The Magic's two recent wins were against Houston and Chicago so I'll back them to keep it relatively close here.
Detroit 100 Orlando 95
8pm - Toronto at Memphis -5.5 O/U 200
The Raptors won at Milwaukee on Monday to stop a 2 game skid. The Grizzlies lost to the Mavs on Monday after winning 4 straight. I'm not sold on Toronto vs. a good Western conference team at home. Conley is back in action, too.
Memphis 98 Toronto 91
8pm - Dallas -9 at Minnesota O/U 212.5
The Mavs have won 2 straight and 3 of 4. The Timberwolves have gained a little life with 2 wins in 4 tries. Tough spot for the Wolves coming home after a 4 game roadie. Mavs have enough firepower to cover.
Dallas 107 Minnesota 93
8pm - L.A. Lakers at New Orleans -7 O/U 204
The Lakers have lost 5 in arrow and 7 of 8 games. The Pelicans have lost 2 of 3 with those losses to the Sixers and Knicks. The Pelicans did not have Anthony Davis for those losses but do expect to have him tonight. Kobe looks like a go for L.A. Pelicans first game back home after a 5 game roadie. Good spot to take the Lakers.
L.A. Lakers 101 New Orleans 98
8pm - Oklahoma City at Washington -1.5 O/U 204.5
The Thunder have won 3 straight and 4 of 5. The Wizards have won 2 straight and 4 of 5. The Thunder won the first meeting 109-102 back on Jan. 2 in OKC. I like Wall, Beale and the Wizards to return the favor against Durant and Westbrook. In a good one.
Washington 108 Oklahoma City 103
9pm - Portland at Phoenix -6.5 O/U 211.5
The Blazers beat the Kings on Monday to snap a 3 game skid. The Suns have won 3 in a row and 7 of 9. No Aldridge tonight for the Blazers which hurts. Good spot for the hot Suns.
Phoenix 110 Portland 103
10pm - Brooklyn at Sacramento -5.5 O/U 197.5
The Nets have lost 8 of 9 as they open up a Western swing. The Kings have lost 4 in a row. The Nets won the first meeting 107-99 in Brooklyn back on Dec. 29. I think it will be close and therefore, will take the points.
Sacramento 102 Brooklyn 97
10:30pm - Houston at Golden State -8 O/U 218
The Rockets have split their last 4 games. The Warriors have won 10 of 11 with just a 127-115 loss at OKC during the stretch. Golden State has beaten the Rockets 3 straight this season with the last one 131-106 last Friday. I see no reason to go against the Warriors here.
Golden State 125 Houston 107
