8:05pm - Kansas City +110 at Detroit -120  O/U 8

Here's our regular Sunday night look at the Triple Trend Formula with a real life example of how it is applied to all MLB games to come up with our daily member picks.

Head to Head:  The teams have split 6 games this season with the Tigers taking 3 of the last 5.  Detroit gets a +2 advantage.

Recent Performance:  The Royals have split their last 10 games overall with a 3-2 mark in their last 5.  Good for a +2 rating.  The Tigers have also split their last 10 but with a 2-3 record in their last 5 they earn a -2 rating.

Starting Pitching:  Kansas City is going with Chris Young who has started just once and won and has a +3 rating.  Detroit counters with Shane Greene (3-2) who comes in a with a +2 rating based on his six starts.

Totals:  The Royals total a +5 overall rating, while the Tigers have a +2 total.  Kansas City, therefore, has a +3 TTF matchup advantage.

The Bet:  Since Kansas City has a rating advantage and they are the underdog at +110, we can recommend a wager.  In this case it will be for one unit based on the relatively small +3 advantage.
