10:30pm - Houston at L.A. Clippers -8.5 O/U 220.5
Five games, five overs in this high scoring series as we get set for tonight's game 6 at the Staples Center in L.A. The Clippers can end it as they hold a 3-2 edge.
The Rockets pulled themselves off the mat with Tuesday's 124-103 win at home, but now must prove their worth on the road in an elimination game. G James Harden posted an impressive 26-11-10 triple double in the game and got plenty of help from F Trevor Ariza 22-8 and C Dwight Howard 20-15. Another effort like that from the trio will likely force a game 7 back in Houston.
The Clippers must find the formula that propelled them to back-to-back blowout wins in games 4 & 5. That formula basically consists of a healthy G Chris Paul and a productive F Blake Griffin.
Houston has lost 9 of the last 10 on the road vs. the Clips so it's hard to take them to win outright. I do like the Rockets to cover, though, with their season on the line.
L.A. Clippers 120 Houston 115
