We've got 5 games on Thursday's schedule and tonight's best play, I feel, is The Warriors -14.5 over the Nets.
Golden State (25-4) begins a 3 game road trip here and they are coming into it in good form having won 5 straight and 21 of 23. The Warriors are #2 in the NBA in ORtg (116.6) but it's their defense that has been stifling of late, allowing less than 90 points to their last 3 opponents.
Brooklyn (7-20) is struggling, with just 2 victories in their last 10 games, dropping their last 3. The fact that they are near the bottom of the NBA in DRtg (111.6) does not bode well vs. GS's potent offense.
Simply, this game is a mismatch and the Warriors will be able to name their score. I believe it will be by a considerable margin. More than 14 points, of course.
Don't be scared off by the big number, it's too low in my opinion as the FSI rates it GS -22.21. Take the Warriors, lay the points for a full 3 units and collect full winnings.
