It's a light card tonight in the NBA with just three betting opportunities and I'm not seeing any real edge. However, out of the three contests, if I had to play one it would be NOP +4 at NYK - 7:30pm.
The Pelicans (14-24) have double-double machine Anthony Davis who averages 28.8 ppg and 12.1 rpg. Beyond that, the roster is quite thin on quality which is why the team lingers in the bottom tier of the NBA. They've lost 3 straight after putting together a 4 game winning streak.
The Knicks (17-20) have a better overall roster, but have lost 7 of their last 8. New York's big three of Carmelo Anthony, Kristaps Porzingis and Derrick Rose are all putting up decent numbers, but not consistent wins.
The FSI rates this one NYK -2.79 so I think the Knicks have a decent shot at getting a victory tonight, however, the 4 points seems just a tad high as I don't think they'll be blowing out Davis and the Pelicans, rather, I see them taking a close grinding game.
