Cleveland has won all 9 of it's playoff games so far (12 if you count last season). Friday night's meeting with the top seeded Celtics will determine if they go back home up 2-0 with a chance to wrap it up there, or if it will be 1-1 and a legitimately competetive series. I think the latter.
James, Love and Thompson all shot well (30-47), but the rest of the team had a horrible night from the field (9-34). Expect Brad Stevens to make the necessary adjustments to force the rest of the Cavaliers to shoot. Boston has the personnel to do this.
I have BOS rated a 0.495 favorite with the FSI formula (below) and I think they win outright. Right now, they're getting 5 points and I think taking these points is the right play for 2 units. If the Celtics can get off to a reasonably good start, CLE may coast the rest of the way knowing they have the next 2 at home.
Good luck, players!
